These terms are subject to change without prior notice depending on market conditions and regulatory requirements.
1. Pre-Order (Import) Terms
1.1 Security Deposit
To participate in Japanese vehicle auctions, customers must pay a refundable security deposit:
- Up to BDT 25,00,000 → BDT 1,00,000
- Up to BDT 50,00,000 → BDT 2,00,000
- Up to BDT 1,00,00,000 → BDT 5,00,000
- Above BDT 1,00,00,000 → BDT 10,00,000
Bidding will not commence without deposit.
If no successful bid occurs, the deposit is refundable after deducting BDT 20,000 service charge.
1.2 Vehicle Specification Agreement
The vehicle will be sourced based on agreed specifications:
- Make & Model
- Year of Manufacture
- Grade / Package
- Engine Capacity
- Colour (subject to availability)
- Auction Grade / Condition
1.3 Payment & LC (Letter of Credit) Terms
As per Bangladesh Bank regulations, 100% LC margin is required:
Option A – Customer Pays LC:
- Customer pays full LC amount
- Service charge: BDT 2,00,000 (may vary by model)
Option B – Booking-Based Purchase:
- Sanaa Global Ltd offers all-inclusive fixed pricing
Important Conditions:
- Payment must be completed within 7 days of auction win.
- Failure → vehicle may be re-auctioned and deposit forfeited.
1.4 Storage Charges (Japan Yard)
If delayed shipment is requested: USD 200–300/month payable by customer.
1.5 Currency & Market Fluctuation
Due to fluctuations in:
- JPY → USD
- USD → BDT
- Shipping costs
All charges are calculated at actual rate on payment date.
2. Shipping, Duty & Delivery
2.1 Customs & Taxes
- Customer must pay 100% customs duty & taxes (actual basis)
- If tax increases → customer bears difference
- If decreases → refund will be adjusted
2.2 Port Charges
Delay in payment → BDT 1,500/day wharf rent
2.3 Payment Schedule
- 90% payment upon vehicle arrival at port
- Remaining 10% before delivery
⚠️ Full payment required before registration
2.4 Delivery Timeline
- Estimated delivery: ~90 days from auction win
- Shipping delays are not under company liability
2.5 Included Services
At delivery, the following are included:
Basic servicing:
- Engine oil
- Air filter
Not Included / Customer Responsibility:
- Tyre replacement (if required)
- Bodywork (dent/paint)
- Aftermarket modifications
- Rim upgrades
- Additional keys or accessories (if not included)
3. Vehicle Inspection & Condition
3.1 Auction Vehicles
Customer may receive:
⚠️ Minor wear/tear consistent with used vehicles is expected.
3.2 Pre-Purchase Inspection (Ready Stock Only)
Customer may inspect at any authorized workshop.
✅ Full refund applicable ONLY if:
Major faults found in:
- Engine
- Gearbox
- Hybrid system
❌ Not eligible for cancellation:
- Suspension issues
- Brake servicing
- Alignment
- Cosmetic wear
These will be repaired before delivery.
4. Registration (BRTA)
Processing Time
2–5 working days
Applicable After
- Full payment
- Vehicle release from port
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
5.1 Ready Stock (Showroom)
Cancellation within 3 days
→ BDT 50,000 deduction
5.2 Port Stage (Ctg/Mongla)
Cancellation within 7 days
→ BDT 1,00,000 deduction
5.3 Japan Import Orders
Cancellation during shipment or after arrival
→ BDT 1,00,000 penalty
5.4 Non-Payment
If unpaid after 30 days → automatic cancellation
Penalty: Higher of BDT 1,00,000 or 5% of vehicle price
5.5 Loan-Related Cases
Loan rejected → 30 days allowed
Failure to purchase → penalty applies
Loan approved but unpaid within 5 days
→ automatic cancellation + penalty
6. Auction Sheet Verification Policy
No report delivered
100% refund
Manual search failure
50% refund
7. Legal Disclaimer
Sanaa Global Ltd acts as an import facilitator and dealer.
Company is not liable for:
- Shipping delays
- Currency fluctuation
- Auction availability issues
All disputes shall be governed under the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
8. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order, paying deposit, or confirming purchase, the customer:
- ✔Agrees to all terms above
- ✔Accepts market risks (currency, tax, shipping)
- ✔Confirms understanding of used vehicle conditions
