The ZR-V is essentially a "Civic SUV," trading boxy utility for a lower center of gravity and a "coupe-like" silhouette. Inside, it features Honda’s new minimalist interior design, highlighted by a metal honeycomb mesh dash and high-quality tactile controls, aiming to attract drivers who want SUV height without sacrificing hatchback-like precision.
Mechanically, yes. It uses the Civic's "HA" platform and suspension geometry but adds roughly 180mm of ground clearance. You get the precise steering of a hatchback with the high seating position and easier ingress of a crossover.
The Gas Turbo model is rated for up to 1,500 kg (braked), which is quite capable for its class. However, the e:HEV Hybrid model is limited to 750 kg, making it better suited for bike racks or very small utility trailers.
Found in higher trims, this air-conditioning technology emits positive and negative ions to neutralize airborne bacteria and odors. It’s a premium health feature designed to keep the cabin air "mountain-fresh" even in heavy city traffic.
It is smaller. The ZR-V offers 380–390 liters with the seats up, which is about 150 liters less than a CR-V. It trades maximum cargo volume for a sportier, more aerodynamic "coupe-like" roofline and a more compact footprint.
